This is not the first time I've heard that I look like Malaysian singer/artist Phing Guan. I don't even know who Phing Guan is!!! LOL
Lately people have also been telling me how great I look in the latest Maxis ads/posters. For the record I do not know what this is about. I never attended any Maxis photo shoot and I didn't give them any of my photos.

I got your comment about Assam Pedas. Believe me, I am from Penang so I know what you meant by Assam Pedas and I know how to make it. When I made mine, I was struggling with what to call the dish because as I mentioned in my post, different people cooks "Assam Pedas" differently and there are various variation of Assam Pedas. While mine is called Gulai Tumis in my home, but when I referred to cookbooks, Assam Pedas recipes are exactly what I featured on my blog so I have decided to call it Assam Pedas instead of Gulai Tumis. I suspect it's only in Penang, Assam Pedas is what you described. I am not too sure as I was confused, too.
